The Diocese of Pittsburgh is seeking a passionate Catholic disciple of Jesus to become the full-time Campus Ministry Leader serving PennWest California and Washington & Jefferson College. This role is pivotal in promoting and nurturing the spiritual development and well-being of students across these two diverse campuses.
As the Campus Ministry Leader, you will drive the mission of our campus ministry at PennWest California (a public university serving 6,512 students) and W&J College (a private institution with 1,151 students). Your leadership will be central to fostering a vibrant faith community that supports students in deepening their relationship with Christ through authentic friendships and formation.
Varsity Baseball Coach Position Overview:
The Varsity Baseball Coach will oversee the CCHS baseball program (Freshmen, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams). The Varsity Baseball Coach oversees and supervises the assistant coaches and athletes. The Varsity Baseball Coach coordinates all training, practices, and games while adhering to WPIAL, PIAA, and CCHS rules and regulations.

House Program Director
Summary of the Job
The House Program Director is responsible for all aspects of the residential operations and the development of programs and services in the fulfillment of Mary’s Place mission, policies and procedures. The House Program Director is accountable to create a loving and positive environment, to ensure the activities of the house are in-line with the teachings of the Catholic Church and provide opportunities for spiritual development for the staff and residents.
The Residential Support Specialist (RSS) reports into the House Program Director and works directly with the residents and their babies to ensure their well-being. The RSS is responsible to assist in all aspects of the residential operations and to support the delivery of programs and services to the residents and their babies in fulfillment of Mary’s Place mission, policies, and procedures. Mary’s Place operates 24 hours a day so this position requires shift work.
Coming and participating in the celebration of Holy Mass, receiving our Lord Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in Holy Communion, and coming to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest preparation to become missionary disciples.
Michelle Peduto, who successfully led the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Pittsburgh through both the planned challenges of a diocesan-wide school reorganization and the unplanned cataclysm of COVID, died of cancer on August 13 at her home in Sewickley.
The Athletic Director is responsible for the overall management of the Athletic Department, including supervision of coaches; scheduling of fields and competitions; day-to-day operations of all programs; creation and implementation of programs and projects that strategically engage the student-athletes; maintenance of a healthy competitive environment; and support of the broader mission of Oakland Catholic High School. It is incumbent on the Athletic Director to establish clear processes; systems of organization; and effective and appropriate communication chains that connect student-athletes, coaches, parents/guardians, and administration. It is the responsibility of the A.D. to establish an effective and cohesive Athletic Association. Jarett Kuhns will be the new principal of Archangel Gabriel School in Robinson. For more than a decade, he has served Catholic schools in West Virginia and Ohio as a principal, teacher, interim special education director and department chair, giving him wide experience to draw upon.
