St. Benedict the Moor School is a K through 8th grade parochial school in Pittsburgh and one of three Extra Mile Education Foundation-supported schools.
The school’s Administrative Assistant is the first voice or face a student or visitor encounters when entering the school. This individual is a reflection of the school’s vision, culture, and climate.
The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for handling various tasks in the school office. Such tasks need to be completed in an organized and efficient manner. An Administrative Assistant provides daily support to the school administration. Confidentiality is of high priority and must be obtained at all times. A variety of tasks will occur daily, including but not limited to: answering phones, making copies, responding to emails, recording student attendance, handling student & teacher requests, etc.
Must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities in an environment with constant interruptions, continuous change of pace and overall duties based on the students each day.
This is a full-time, full-year position. Hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance Position Overview:
The Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance assists in the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including all areas of campus and the physical plant of Central Catholic High School. The Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance ensures this is done efficiently and in a safe manner. The Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance looks for ways to improve the maintenance department processes and maintains high standards for the physical plant as established by CCHs Administration. The Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance also assists the Director of Facilities and Maintenance in creating, maintaining, and keeping a rolling five-year strategic maintenance and capital plan for the facility. The Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance assists the Director of Facilities and Maintenance as the school liaison for all third-party vendors, including janitorial services and maintenance services who may perform nightly services as well as services for special events.

Teachers are expected to know and understand the PA State Standards for Mathematics related to the specific content of the grade level and create innovative and engaging lesson plans incorporating technology and hands on activities, display proactive and positive classroom management, instruct students utilizing best practices, and create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program, while focused on inquiry-based learning. The Director of Music Ministry will take a pastoral approach to serving Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish as the principal musician, organist/pianist, and choral director at the Saints John & Paul campus. The Faith Formation and Evangelization Minister is a lay ecclesial minister in the Roman Catholic Church. The minister creates the vision and ensures implementation of parish wide formation for all ages and collaborates with and supports other ministry leaders in developing, implementing, and sustaining these programs. Formation and discipleship programs are holistic, aiming to educate on the level of prayer, Church teaching, sacred community, service and justice, Scripture, and Gospel encounter. This person reports to the Pastor as their direct supervisor.
