Annulment Info SessionsJoin Fr. Michael Sedor, Judicial Vicar, and Mr. Jay Conzemius, Tribunal Moderator to learn about the annulments process. Topics will include: Why, When and How to Start the Petition for Annulment Process; Theology of Marriage; Ministry of the Tribunal; Marriage Annulment Types; Marriage Law; Process Overview.
After the presentation an opportunity to ask questions and/or to start the process will be made available.
No reservations are required, but if you do plan to attend we ask you to send a confirmation email to [email protected] or contact the Tribunal at 412-456-3033 so that seating arrangements can be made. Be assured of our concern, our prayers, and of our desire to help you move forward in life and in your relationship with Jesus, His Church and the sacraments. We hope you find the information in these pages helpful.
The Tribunal of the Diocese of Pittsburgh works with those who were previously married to see if it is possible to clear a path to a new marriage in the Church. A declaration of nullity (an annulment) is necessary for the Church to recognize any subsequent marriage.
On this page you may access a schedule of upcoming information nights, an explanation of how to start an annulment and the process for a case, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

Support for Catholics who are separated, divorced or in the annulment processThe Diocese of Pittsburgh, and many of its parishes, also offers broader ministries of support to the divorced and separated.
If you still have hope of rebuilding your marriage, you may also find helpful information on the Retrouvaille Program, a ministry for couples whose marriages are struggling, including some who are in the process of divorce or currently separated.
