Financial Assistance is Available for Everyone
for the 2026-2027 School Year-
Our diocesan schools are the beneficiaries of a major Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donation. An anonymous donor has made a significant contribution dedicated entirely to financial assistance for families.
With this new support, we are updating our funding model to ensure that every single family benefits from some form of financial aid in the 2026-2027 school year. In order to utilize this funding with our other sources of financial aid, we are moving to a model where all families need to apply for financial aid.
How does this affect my family?- All families must apply for financial aid through FACTS for the 2026–2027 school year. Every family that applies through FACTS will receive financial assistance, even those who have not received EITC or other aid in the past.
- What you will pay: By applying through FACTS, many families will see a decrease in their payments. Other families will pay about what they paid last year.
- Important Requirement: Families who choose not to apply through FACTS will assume responsibility for the full cost-per-student amount.

Aid applications for the 2026-2027 school year will again be processed by FACTS Management. Families applying for financial aid attending Catholic schools within the Diocese of Pittsburgh may do so by using the link below and will be evaluated for eligibility from all aid sources.
Families are strongly encouraged to log on and begin their applications by March 16, 2026.
It must be completed by April 30, 2026.

Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC)
These Commonwealth of Pennsylvania programs are available for eligible families meeting income and residency criteria. Maximum income amounts are shown on the chart below and are the same for both programs. In addition to the maximum income amounts, grants from OSTC funds require students to be assigned to an under-performing public school as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Eligibility will be assessed for both programs through the FACTS application process.
