Regional Vicariates

On July 1, 2020, the four Regional Vicariates transitioned to two new vicariates: a North Vicariate and a South Vicariate. The 59 parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh are now organized into these two vicariates. 

The North Vicariate is comprised of 32 parishes, and the South Vicariate is comprised of 27 parishes. Currently, the Very Reverend Joseph R. McCaffrey is serving as the Regional Vicar of the North, and the Very Revered David G. Poecking is serving as the Regional Vicar of the South.
