Middle School English/ELA Teacher (Full Time)- John F. Kennedy Catholic School, Washington PA

John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Washington, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated and passionate  Middle School English and ELA Teacher to be part of the staff for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates should be motivated to foster an environment in which middle school students can grow both academically and spiritually. The teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in English and language arts to 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. Additionally, the teacher may possibly instruct a 6th-grade math class. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated educator with a strong understanding of middle school students and a passion for fostering a love of learning.  
        Key Responsibilities:  

• Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and school goals.  
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.  
• Analyze student data and collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement best practices in education.  
• Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.   
• Support school policies and procedures.

 
Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-8  
• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in English or ELA 7-12 or Middle-Level Education (4-8/English or ELA)
• Complete all required state and Diocesan clearances ● Knowledge of the Catholic faith is preferred.
