Support the teacher in implementing daily lessons, activities, and classroom routines that align with the Catholic mission as well as diocesan and regional standards. ● Assist with classroom management by helping maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing environment that promotes learning and positive behavior.
Work directly with students in small groups or one-on-one to reinforce instruction, encourage participation, and support individual needs.
Help with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing supplies, supervising transitions, and assisting with meals, rest time, and hygiene routines.
Foster strong communication and collaboration with the teacher, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency and support for every child.
Work cohesively as a member of a team.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Education, Child Development, or a Related Field
Strong Understanding of Child Development, Classroom Management, and Best Practices
Ability to Work Cohesively as a Member of a Team
Demonstrated flexibility and Ability to work in a High-Paced Environment
Love of Children, Teaching, and Learning
Prior Successful Experience Working with Early Learners (preferred)
Practicing Catholic in Good Standing (preferred)
