First Grade Teacher Full Time Saint Louise deMarillac School, Upper St. Clair

St Louise DeMarillac is seeking a highly motivated and experienced first-grade teacher.  
The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual responsible for teaching first-grade students and will have a proven track record of success in the classroom.  
 
Responsibilities: 
 

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum standards
• Adhere to and promote the values of the Catholic Church
• Work collaboratively with other faculty members to create a positive learning environment
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
• Coordinate student assessments, including universal screeners
• Other duties as assigned

 
Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Education K-6
• Valid PA Teaching Certifications
• All Clearances Required
• Diocesan Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
