Saint John XXIII Parish Faith Formation Coordinator - Middle School Focus Join our dynamic faith community and make a lasting impact on young lives! We're seeking a passionate and organized Faith Formation Coordinator to lead our middle school faith formation program (grades 6-8). This role offers the perfect opportunity to guide young people through their spiritual journey while building meaningful connections with families in our parish community. What You'll Do:
Implement engaging faith formation curriculum with our catechists including Confirmation preparation for middle schoolers
Coordinate service projects and mission opportunities that inspire young hearts in the Works of Mercy
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and parish families
Collaborate with our Youth Ministry team to create relevant, impactful programming helping to guide our middle schoolers into our Youth Ministry program
Collaborate with team members to help organize parish-wide events and connect students to broader ministry opportunities, e.g. Vacation Bible School
What We're Looking For:
Active in the practice of the Catholic faith
Teaching background with experience communicating effectively with 11-14 year olds
Self-motivated team player who thrives in collaborative environments
Creative communicator comfortable with social media and digital platforms
Flexible schedule availability including Sundays and occasional evenings
Heart for youth ministry and passion for faith development
Position Details: Position hours can range from part time to full time to meet the needs of the applicant or the right candidate.
