Job Title: Elementary School Teacher (Grades K–6)
 Location: Saint Wendelin Catholic School, Northern Butler County, PA
 Reports To: Principal
 Position Overview:
 Saint Wendelin Catholic School, a vibrant faith-based learning community in northern Butler County, is seeking a qualified and mission-driven Elementary School Teacher to lead instruction in core academic subjects with an added emphasis on mathematics. The ideal candidate will possess a mid-level math degree (bachelor’s or higher) and bring a passion for helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally within a nurturing Catholic environment.
 Key Responsibilities:
 

• Provide high-quality instruction in core subjects, including Religion, English Language Arts, and Mathematics
• Integrate advanced math knowledge into daily lessons to enhance student understanding and problem-solving.
• Design and differentiate lessons to meet the varying academic needs of learners, especially in mathematics.
• Promote Catholic values and model Christian behavior in and outside the classroom.
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student success.
• Participate actively in school-wide events, professional development, and faith-based activities.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or Math Education preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania state teaching certification (or eligibility for certification).
• Practicing Catholic preferred; commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education required.
• Classroom teaching experience preferred, especially with differentiated math instruction.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Additional Desirable Skills:
 

• Experience integrating Catholic teachings into daily instruction.
• Ability to support or lead extracurricular math activities (e.g., math competitions, clubs).
• Familiarity with technology tools that support blended or personalized learning.

Work Schedule:
 Full-time, 10-month academic year position, beginning Fall 2025.
