Catholic school students were excited to see Pope Leo XIV

Students in Catholic schools around the diocese excitedly awaited the announcement of the new pope today.

At Saint Bede School, students were excited to listen to the first words from our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV.

Second graders at Saint Benedict the Moor School had been learning about the conclave and were excited to watch the first appearance of the new Pope Leo XIV.




Third graders at Sacred Heart Elementary School watched the news livestream for updates as they waited for the new pope, while making their conclave booklets.
