Bishop Mark A. Eckman, Bishop of Pittsburgh, is making the announcement of the following clergy appointments: 
 
INCARDINATION
 
The Reverend David Perry, Jr., previously of the Diocese of Erie, has been granted incardination in the Diocese of Pittsburgh effective February 1, 2026.  Father Perry continues his responsibilities as Senior Parochial Vicar at Saint John XXIII Parish,  Peters Township / Finleyville / Jefferson Hills.
 
 
 SPECIAL NOTICE
 
Mr. Paul D. Cwynar, formerly a priest of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, was dismissed from the clerical state by judicial sentence of the Tribunal of the Diocese of Pittsburgh issued on December 3, 2025.
 
Mr. William J. Geisler, formerly a priest of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, was dismissed from the clerical state by judicial sentence of the Tribunal of the Diocese of Pittsburgh issued on December 3, 2025.
 
Mr. Phillip M. Lavery, formerly a priest of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, was dismissed from the clerical state by judicial sentence of the Tribunal of the Diocese of Pittsburgh issued on October 10, 2025.
