For many years, the Pittsburgh Crèche has stood as a visible sign of faith in Downtown Pittsburgh, but it costs nearly $90,000 each year to erect, maintain, and store the Crèche. To help preserve this tradition for future generations, the Roman Catholic Diocese invites everyone to make a difference by purchasing a 2026 Pittsburgh Crèche Fundraising Lottery Ticket (valid January 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026). Each ticket costs $25 and is based on the Pennsylvania Daily Evening Lottery Drawing at 7pm. In addition, there is a designated place for donations at the crèche. Donors may also send tax-deductible gifts designated to The Pittsburgh Crèche Fund in care of The Pittsburgh Foundation at Five PPG Place, Suite 250, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
