Sts. Peter and Paul Cafeteria Manager : Part-Time, Monday-Friday 8 am - 1:30 pm (during the school year) We are seeking a cafeteria manager to oversee the cafeteria and lunch process while working with staff and volunteers to serve consistent and nutritious meals to students and staff in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth, while helping to advance the mission and vision of South Regional Catholic Elementary Schools. Duties: ● Recognizes and supports the unique Catholic mission of SRCES by speaking and acting consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. ● Responsible for the daily preparation and cooking of the food for the lunches. ● Works under the Regional Cafeteria Supervisor to coordinate the purchase and distribution of food. ● Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen in accordance with the US Department of Agriculture guidelines. Assist with the daily cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils. ● Use proper procedures for receiving and storing food and kitchen supplies. ● Maintain a good working relationship with parents, students, and other staff and faculty. ● Report to the Regional Cafeteria Supervisor any faulty or inferior quality food that is received. ● Maintain high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. ● Has regular and predictable attendance. ● Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: ● 21 years of age ● Appropriate Food Handler Permit ● Completed safe environment training and background check ● High school diploma or GED ● Valid PA Driver's License Job Requirements: ● Ability to move, load, and unload equipment and supplies weighing 35 pounds or more ● Ability to work independently and without direct supervision ● To apply, please send a letter of interest and resume to [email protected]
