Bishop David Zubik has asked all people of faith to join a worldwide effort to pray for peace in the Middle East on Tuesday, October 17.

Bishop David Zubik implores all leaders involved to seek ways to diminish the conflict and to pursue justice and peace for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

We were made aware of a vehicle collision this morning in Dravosburg involving a school van from Serra Catholic High School and a car. We are heartbroken to confirm that a 15-year-old Serra Catholic student died as a result. We have been advised that three other Serra Catholic students were taken to a hospital in stable condition.

He would certainly ask us to also pray for those without his access to health care – for the homeless, the migrants, people who lack insurance or live far from clinics.
